Saint-Savin, formerly known as Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe, is a French commune in the Vienne Département in the Poitou-Charentes Region with about 1000 inhabitants. The municipality, at the same time also chief lieu of the canton of the same name, was mainly known by the abbey of Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe, which was awarded in 1983 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
