Pittsburgh was known for a long time as the centre of the steel industry. As the industry declined, the city fell in agony. Now it is back: still located on three rivers in the middle of green hills, restored old combines with highlights of modern architecture. Historically, Pittsburgh was the place where Jim Delligatti made a world-moving invention in 1968, mainly consisting of fried minced meat, a sesame roll and a special Sauce: the Big Mac. Pittsburgh is also home to Carnegie Mellon University, one of the 50 best universities in the United States. In the area west of Pittsburgh, the traveller can visit Harmony in addition to a Slovenian settlement.

In 1804, Germans settled here, who wanted to make their lives out of a mixture of late early Christianity and anticipated socialism. The remains of this life form, which later merged with the Mennonite and Amish trains, are collected in a Museum. In the capital of the Westmoreland County, Greensburg, you will find numerous architectural features and also some cultural facilities.
