Flag of Namibia

Namibia is a state in Southern Africa, bordering the Atlantic Ocean and bordering Angola, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa.

It is an independent republic since 1990, and is administratively divided into 13 regions (Caprivi, Erongo, Hardap, Karas, Khomas, Kunene, Ohangwena, Okavango, Omaheke, Omusati, Oshana, Oshikoto, Otjozondjupa). The capital, Windhoek, is located inland; on the coast, Lüderitz, Walfish Bay and Swakopmund are the main agglomerations of this country with an area of 825.418 km2, but with only 2.1 million inhabitants.
