Flag of Cameroon

Cameroon is a state in West Africa, bordering the Atlantic (Gulf of Guinea) and bordering Nigeria, Chad, the Central African Republic, Congo-Brazzaville, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

With a population of 20.13 million (2012), it has an area of 475.440 km2. Capital : Yaoundé (1.30 million inhabitants); other major cities : Douala (11.34 million inhabitants), Garoua (434,000 inhabitants), Kousséri (435,000), Bamenda (394,000), Maroua (319,000), etc.
