As part of the festival, the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center will show visitors the impressive World of whales that move into the mild Atlantic waters off the coast in Winter.

From the covered outdoor area of scientific Whale watching humpback, Finn, Smooth and minke whales as well as dolphins, sea lions and seals in perspective, wide make. Until April 2020, the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center also organizes Whale Watching tours from the boat on a regular basis, independent of the Festival. Responsible monitoring practices of the scientists who will accompany the tours as Guides, ensure that the animals are in their familiar environment. The prices for birdwatching tours range from 15 to 55 US dollars, for the Workshops they are a maximum of 5 US dollars. Whale watching tours can be booked directly at the Virginia Aquarium for $ 23 and independently of the festival for $ 29.95. Children pay 5 US dollars less.
