Where is Vinh Located?

The city is located halfway between the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi in the South and Hue in the North.
Vinh is the capital of Nghe An Province and has been subject to many economic and political upheavals in the past. The many destructions during military conflicts caused almost all historical buildings to disappear. For tourists, only a few memories of earlier times remained, but the city has not lost its value to this day.

The city of Vinh used to be known as the “gateway to the South”. This is due, among other things, to the good connection to the North and south of the country.
