Where is Tangier Located?

Tangier is located on the Strait of Gibraltar and is considered a gateway to Europe. According to legend, the town was founded by Antaios, a son of the sea god Poseidon and the Goddess Mother Gaia. He chose for his city the place where Hercules had divided the Earth and thus created a connection between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. The weather is definitely divine in the port city. It is warmest in Tangier from July to September, then the temperatures rise to almost 30° C.
