The Squaw Valley Resort has many family-friendly attractions and is itself a small village. The Squaw Valley, opened in 1946, was created by lawyer Alex Cushing, who boldly placed the main attractions near the summit and not at the base. The resort achieved world fame in 1960 when the Winter Olympics were held here. The KT-22 is the most famous peak of the resort.
With more than 170 slopes, six terrain parks and 30 Lifts, the mountain offers plenty of opportunities for activities.
