After a long day of traveling, and a few wine tastings, we hit the road. Joseph for the evening. A walk up a steep ramp (stairs are available) took us to Silver Beach County Park.

There is a large Splash Pad area where people can walk around/under several sprinklers, and also a heated indoor carousel, as well as a very full Pizzeria. Right through it all is an Amtrak station. The beach is large, and the Sand is soft, the water was calm, the sunset beautiful.

As you will see from the attached photos of the lighthouse/Pier from both sides, it is amazing how complete the waters can be changes in 12 hours! Unfortunately for us, our fishing boat was cancelled and we travelled . . . maybe next Time we will spend more time here.
