Where is Senegal Located?
Senegal is the westernmost country in Africa, on the Atlantic ocean. It forms the transition between the Sahel and the tropical Zone. The neighboring country to the East is Mali. In the north, behind the Senegal border, the state of Mauritania, South of Senegal, lies Guinea and Guinea-Bissau. The land of Gambia is completely enclosed by Senegal. The west-east extension of Senegal is 650 km, north-south 500 km, and the coastal length 500 km.
