Where is Scottsdale Located?
The city of Scottsdale, which now has a population of more than 245,000, had only a population of 90,000 in 1980, making it one of the many examples of explosive population growth in Arizona.
In contrast to the other, partly equally large cities in the metropolitan area around Phoenix, however, Scottsdale has striven from the beginning to preserve its own identity and has developed a well-known Image as the location of an upscale offer in the areas of Tourism and Shopping through targeted measures. In 1993, the city was voted the “most livable city in the USA” by the mayors of the US cities. In addition, Scottsdale is an important business location, especially in the area of services.
