Where is San Luis, Argentina Located?
This sparsely populated province in the Western Center of Argentina has long been denied by travelers despite its scenic beauties. Some places have now established themselves as destinations, but in many parts of the province you still change away from the beaten tourist paths.
What Country is San Luis in?
Once a remote No Man’s country, San Luis has been one of the provinces with the highest population and economic growth since the 1980s thanks to a programme of support for structurally weak regions. Even the two largest cities of San Luis and Villa Mercedes had the character of larger villages in 1990. Today, they have both crossed the threshold of the big city and boast an excellent infrastructure, although they are not yet among the Highlights of a city Trip in Argentina.
