The St. Louis Zoo opened in 1904 and is located in Forest Park in the U.S. State of Missouri. Today, the Zoo houses over 22,000 animals and offers many exciting attractions. With a small locomotive visitors can ride through the Zoo, stopping at various enclosures, such as, for example, in the African Savanna Here, rhinos and elephants can be observed. The petting zoo is also available for the children. At the Children’s Zoo, children can pet and feed goats, donkeys or sheep. There is also a gift shop and a Café.
