Where is Rosario Located?

The fact that Argentina’s third largest city (about 1 million inhabitants) bears this nickname is due to the fact that at the beginning of the 20th century there was a broad anarchist movement within the labour movement in Rosario. But even today there are parallels between the two cities that justify this comparison. Like Barcelona, Rosario is a vibrant and booming economic and cultural metropolis, in which one knows how to combine old and new, and has developed a high level of quality of life. As in Barcelona, water plays an important role. In the case of Rosario, this, however, is not the sea, but “only” a river: the Río Paraná, the second longest river in South America.
