Where is Ramat Gan Located?
The city is home to around 161,000 inhabitants not far from the Mediterranean Sea, which is 15 kilometres from the airport and has its own rail and motorway connections. The “Garden City” with the Four Hills has received its name because of the extensive green areas and Parks that make up a quarter of the urban area, including the Avraham Krinitzy National Park and the Safari Park.

The beginnings of Ramat Gan are in 1921, when the first settlers settled in this area. In 1923, three groups of settlers joined together to form a community and gave the village the name “Ramat Gan”, which translates as “Garden Hill”. Since 1933, the rural structure has developed into an industrial city, as more and more businesses have been established. Today, the diamond exchange represents an extremely important economic factor for the city, which is underpinned by the export industry.
