Where is Raanana Located?

Raanana is a young, very modern city in Israel, located near Tel Aviv. Raanana is called the “pearl of the Sharon area”. Since the founding of the town by American settlers in 1922, the town has developed steadily. Due to the immigration of German, Russian, and South African Jews, the population has now risen to over 60,000.
Since 1982 Raanana has held the town rights. Agriculture (citrus orchards, tobacco growing), industry and trade, to determine the quality of life. Raanana has been our twin town since 1978.
