Pyay is a town in the Bago Region in Myanmar. It is located on the aye-Yar-Waddy River.

What Country is Pyay in?

The express bus takes you from Yangon to Pyay. The Taxi ordered by the Hotel drops us off at the bus terminal. We expect a Terminal like in South America with a large hall, counters and numbered bus platforms. But far from it: the bus station is a whole district with dusty streets, where buses stand in front of the offices of the respective company, in Burmese script, if marked at all. No Map, no signposts. If the taxi driver didn’t know where to drop us off, we wouldn’t have a chance to find our Bus.
