Where is Port Elizabeth Located?
Port Elizabeth, PE, is located about 770 kilometers east of Cape Town, in the province of Eastern Cape of South Africa. The city is located on the southern Algoa Bay, at the mouth of the Baakens River, and is the fifth largest city of South Africa.
Port Elizabeth was founded in 1820 between several hills and the sea and has been extended to this day, but the modern buildings have largely been placed outside the Old Town.
