Anyone who has always dreamed of traveling to the magical land of Oz does not have to wait for a Tornado. The Oz Museum is located-as you would expect-in a small town in the state of Kansas.

The museum was established in 2004 on a large site provided by the state of Kansas and celebrates not only the famous Hollywood musical from 1939, but also L. Frank Baum’s children’s book The Wizard Of Oz from 1900, with which it all began.

Thousands of exhibits and collectibles around the children’s Classic are presented – from first editions of Baum’s book series to board games and theatre posters. In addition to the constantly expanded collection of relics and memorabilia, scenes from the legendary film adaptation with Judy Garland are of course not neglected. For example, from Dorothy’s black-and-white room in the farmhouse, you will enter a brightly lit, colourful room where you can walk along the Yellow Brick Road.
