Where is Norrköping Located?

Norrköping is an old industrial, commercial and maritime town located at the end of Bråviken Bay. Already in the 17th century, Dutch businessman Louis De Geer founded various industries in the city, including paper making, weapons factory, textile factory and a shipyard. At that time Norrköping was the second largest city in Sweden!

What Country is Norrköping in?

The textile industry in Norrköping accounted for 70% of Sweden’s clothing production in the 19th century. Until the 1960s, Norrköping was known for its textile industry. Today, the former factory buildings have been modernized and House, among other things, the University, the working museum and the concert hall “De Geer”. Worth visiting are the artfully illuminated waterfalls of the river Motala around the buildings of the “industrial Landskap”.
