Niš is one of the oldest cities in the Balkans. With over 250,000 inhabitants, Niš is the third largest city in Serbia and the seat of the Nišava district. It is located in southern Serbia at the crossroads of major Balkan and European roads that connect Europe with the Middle East.
What Country is Niš in?
We spent our first day in Serbia in the vicinity of Niš. With our Guide Bane Simović from ShowMe we discovered Serbia away from the mainstream. He had promised us to drive some interesting places by car and we were really excited about the trip.
The Trip took almost 6 hours including lunch. We have been picked up from the Hotel (and also brought back). For the price we were at 20€ per Person plus lunch and some fuel costs (you should not forget, that you can eat in Serbia for 10€ almost princely).
