Where is Nahariya Located?

Nahariya is a popular bathing and holiday resort on the Mediterranean coast North of Haifa and Akko with beautiful beaches and a bustling waterfront. Especially Israelis from the cities of the Interior come here to spend a relaxing weekend or holiday at the sea.

Originally, Nahariya was an agricultural cooperative settlement of Jewish settlers of German origin. Today, Nahariya has grown into a city with about fifty thousand inhabitants. It is the northernmost coastal city in Israel. The border with Lebanon is only ten kilometers away.
