Where is Museum of Native American History?
The museum is solid and gives a good overview of the Native American history of the USA. Interestingly enough, one begins with the theories and various assessments of where the first settlers of North America came from more than 10,000 years ago.
In the course of the historical presentation it is already a little more solid. Unfortunately, important information about systematic attempts to exterminate or at least expel Native Americans is missing, even if the policy of the American government in the 18th and 19th centuries to resettle Native Americans in areas reserved for them is at least addressed.
A modest attempt to portray a rather complex thing in a short form. The sympathy of the museum educators for the cause of the Indians is clearly noticeable, but there is a great lack of critical appreciation of the dark phases of the USA.
