“For the love of Aviation.”With this sentence, Scott Glover answers the question of why he built his Mid America Flight Museum. Mount Pleasant, Texas, is home to some of the most interesting patterns in US aviation. Classics of aviation could take a look at the collection.

When you think of Texas, the images of barren hills, dusty prairies or oil fields inevitably come to mind. Not to mention, Cowboys and huge herds of cattle. But Texas is much more than that. When you travel to the east of Dallas, you will be surprised by green hills, forests and lakes. Desert or extreme drought are sought in vain.

In the northeastern part, about two and a half hours from Dallas, is Mount Pleasant, with almost 14,000 inhabitants a typical American small town. A main road leads through the village, which is not far from the two lakes Bob Sandlin and Monticello. Coming over Interstate 30, just before reaching the town, you are greeted by a large factory with Silos and an oversized American flag, and here begins the story of the Mid America Flight Museum and its owner Scott Glover.
