Every day we drove in and out of a Maine hat. The trails vary in difficulty and length and snow conditions, you can make it too icy.

I rented metal edged skis, which makes it possible to ski to any cottage otherwise my cc skis were slacking off. My husband needed to wear skis in places with ice. then recommend metal edged skis and no matter what, you’ll be all on the Trail. it would also be a good idea to then bring your snowshoes, so you have it if you have unsafe Trail conditions. Each hat we came to see, greeted us and offered us tea. A special pleasure to discover!
