Las Tunas – or Victoria de Las Tunas – is the capital of the homonymous province. It is also referred to as the” balcony of the East ” (Balcón del Este), since the east of Cuba officially has its geographical beginning here. With 150,000 inhabitants, Las Tunas is the largest city in the province.
