Where is Kunming Located?

Kunming, the provincial capital of Yunnan, with almost 7 million inhabitants. Yunnan province is located in the southwestern part of China and borders Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam. Yunnan is known for its ethnic diversity. Among the 56 recognized ethnic groups of China, 25 are to be found in Yunnan. About 38% of the inhabitants of the province are members of recognized minorities.
