Where is Kualoa?

In the east of the island between the villages of KAA’awa and Waikane lies the Kualoa Ranch, a 16km2 private natural area. In addition to a ranch with over 500 cattle, the Kualoa Ranch is mainly known for its numerous activity tours and is extremely popular with tourists. Founded in 1850, the Ranch is now managed by the Morgan family for the sixth Generation and offers a variety of unique nature experiences on site.

The Nature Reserve stretches from the rugged mountains of northeastern Oahu across three spectacular valleys and dense rainforests to Kaneohe Bay and its powdery white beaches. In this huge area, every holidaymaker will surely find his Highlight: from the petting zoo for the very little ones to the Zipline course for adrenaline junkies to extensive rides along the mountain paths for peace seekers.

Numerous Hollywood films and top series such as Godzilla, Pearl Harbor, Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates or Lost were also shot on the site. The 90-minute Movie Tour is therefore particularly popular, bringing visitors closer to the filming locations of over 50 films. The Tour takes place 13 (!) Times a day and costs 36$ or 46$depending on the season.
