We enjoy the peace and quiet in the beautiful Hotel Jamshid. Above all, we want to wash, maintain the Blog and of course visit the rock reliefs Taq-e-Bostans toured in the guide. Fortunately, our Hotel is right next door and we can reach the excavation within walking distance. The rock caves with the stone-carved Reliefs date back to the Sassanid times and show the investiture of the Kings who ruled at that time as well as scenes of a king hunt. The entire facility is quite impressive, including the entrance price for Iranian conditions. Four euros per nose are almost prohibitive for average Iranians, considering that you get a full dinner for it.
