Almost three hours has taken the drive from Kenema, one of the provincial capitals in Sierra Leone. It was just 40 kilometers on roads that hardly deserve this designation. Earth crates full of mud-filled potholes, large as bathtubs. But the overwhelming welcome in Lalehun compensates for all the stress.
