Where is Kara Sea?

The Kara sea is a marginal sea of the Arctic ocean. It is bordered on the West by the double island of Novaya Zemlya. This is the fourth – and sixth-largest island in Europe. To the East are the Taimyr Peninsula, Severnaya Zemlya and the Taimyr Peninsula.

The Ob and Yenisei rivers flow into the Kara Sea. These large streams are partly responsible for the local climate.

Marginal seas-the Kara sea, the Laptev sea in the East and the Barents sea in the West.
