The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is home to more than 2,000 animals over an area of 45 hectares. Among them are many species of exotic birds native to the River Valley Aviary. However, the jaguar enclosure, the largest of its kind in North America, attracts visitors. In addition to the big cats live here also snakes and arrow poison frogs, there is also a mysterious temple for the guests to discover. Right next to this theme area is the Play Park, where the little zoo visitors can learn all kinds of things about nature and animals in a playful way. With two Restaurants and a Snack Bar, guests are well catered for.
