The site of Helwan is called a huge necropolis, which extends on the eastern shore of the Nile of Ma’ssara in the north to the height of the modern city of Helwan in the South. Originally, this site has once covered 100 hectares of Land, but only a fraction of it is preserved, as it is strongly affected by modern development.
