In Freetown/Sierra Leone, we’re on the tarmac waiting for the next 25-minute flight to Conakry. We’re waiting for a thunderstorm at the end of this rainy season. The 150 miles between Freetown and Conakry, we put it back between 1,000 and 2,000 meters altitude, and lead us through the foothills of the evening thunderstorm.
