Where is Gilmore Car Museum?

It is difficult to describe the Museum…since you run out of superlatives!

Professionally, I had to bridge one day to the return flight. An acquaintance said “there’s a nice Oldtimer Museum, go there”…were 20min to drive, so why not on a Saturday. The ride alone (unfortunately in October in bad weather) is already great, the landscape gigantic.

According to the statement, the largest car museum in North America..I think! I have seen many oldtimer museums worldwide. But that tops everything.

Not only that, the cars are all in really (optical!) 1a quality are (well I would not ran a magnet now…but these are just Americans ; -)), also the concept works. Car dealerships from the time were reconstructed and the whole thing sorted by brands (unfortunately almost exclusively us boxes). In addition to show n Shine boxes, there is also a hall that is exclusively available for vehicles of an Oldiclub that you can also visit.

The whole thing has dimensions..can not describe. Every car enthusiast should have visited once in a lifetime. The 50s Diner and its history alone is an experience!
