Where is Georgia Aquarium

Opened in 2005, the Georgia Aquarium at Pemberton Place in Atlanta is the world’s largest Aquarium and houses more than 100,000 animals from 500 species.

The city of Atlanta owes this unique attraction to a $ 200 million donation from Bernard Marcus, founder of the American Home Depot DIY chain. On an area of 81,000 square meters, you can see the animals in the five thematic areas: Georgia Explorer, Tropical Diver, Ocean Voyager, Cold Water Quest and River Scout.
