Where is Fergana Located?

Fergana is a city in Uzbekistan. Like a huge garden in the city of Ferghana (also: Farg’ona) runs through the landscape. Especially in spring it is considered a natural spectacle worth seeing. Huge plane trees, oaks and white Robinia form attractive avenues that lead through the surroundings. Generous green areas provide a picturesque image, and, therefore, a clear contrast to the desert regions of the country.

In addition to Uzbek and Russian influences, Western influences also made it to the relatively young city. There are modern Restaurants, Pubs and discos, but also interesting Oriental markets. For centuries, some of the city’s handicraft products have also been appreciated, including pottery and Silk.
