The Farnsworth Art Museum is an architectural and content-related delight that one would hardly expect in the “province”. Numerous, very interesting pictures of father and son Wyeth, who had their domicile here nearby, special exhibitions, also some explanations to local peculiarities. We visited a special exhibition, illustrations by N. C. Wyeth, mostly from the Brandywine River Museum, which will be on view until the end of December. Not everything I liked so much, but some illustrations were extraordinary, and the picture explanations were excellent ! All in all a great place, it is definitely worth to look at the different parts of the building (and take a break in the library, among other things).
