Where is Dakota Zoo Located
The history of the Dakota Zoo began with the farm of Marc and Betty Christianson in Bismarck, North Dakota. At first, they only took domestic animals in care and also farms mink farming.
Little by little, her love of animals grew up among her neighbours, and the Farm enjoyed more and more visitors until eventually the idea of a zoo was born. On June 3, 1961, the Dakota Zoo was finally able to open its doors. At that time he housed a total of 98 animals. Since then, the Zoo has grown enormously, including a bear and lion enclosure and an adventure area.
