Where is Corrientes Located?

Around 350,000 people live in the capital of the province of the same name on the Paraná River. Over the river a bridge connects the city of Corrientes with the neighboring town of Barranqueras (Chaco province). Thus, the area is one of the most important conurbations in the north-east of Argentina.
