Where is Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Located
More than 5,000 animals from more than 700 species live on the 2.3 square-kilometre area of the Columbus Zoo.
The zoo is divided into the areas of African Forest, Asia Quest, Australia and the Islands, North America and Shores and thus leads its visitors on a journey around the world. Gorillas threatened by extinction can be found here as well as kangaroos or sharks in their 100,000-gallon saltwater Tank. The Zoo also includes Zoombesi Bay Water Park, Safari Golf Park and Jack Hannah’s Into the Wild, a program that aims to give visitors a new understanding of animals.
