We love diverse gardens and we had high hopes in Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens because of the glorious reviews – it has far exceeded our expectations! The variety and beauty of the plants was outstanding. Everything was well – maintained: The gardens, walking paths/trails, visitor Centre, etc. We started with a scenic hour walk on good Hiking maintained trails around the Perimeter and along the coast of Cove. We then also visited the gardens, with the Alfond children’s playground a real Highlight, although we had no children with us. This time it was really worth the time and a bit too high entry.
