Where is Cloud Gate?

Every day, thousands of people gather at Anish Kapoor’s Cloud Gate in Chicago’s Millennium Park. The huge mirror sculpture, which for obvious reasons also lovingly “Bean” (Eng.: The bean) consists of 168 stainless steel plates welded together and anchored to the ground. The sculpture is about 10 meters high, with a footprint of about 20 x 13 meters.

Such an impressive size is necessary for the sculpture to assert itself in Millennium Park and fulfill the project’s claim to play with the light and unite all Chicago’s reflections.
