Where is Calgary Zoo Located
Calgary Zoo is Canada’s second largest animal park. In addition to the animal park itself, which is subdivided into seven thematic areas, there are also various botanical gardens. The third section of the Calgary Zoo is unique in Canada: in the Prehistoric Park, the visitors can return to the ancient times. Life-sized dinosaurs stand in the primeval landscape and sometimes even protrude beyond the trees. The Calgary Zoo was founded in 1929 and now houses over 1,000 animals from more than 290 species.
