Where is Bouficha Located?
Only five kilometres south of Hammamet-Yasmine is the tranquil town of Bouficha. It is a small town with barracks, a beautiful train station and a nice weekly market. The city belongs to the province of Sousse and is located about sixty kilometers south of vonTunis, between the cities of Hammamet and Enfidha, near the Gulf of Hammamet. Two main roads cross the site – one leads from here on Zriba Village directly to Zaghouan – the other is the national road 1 (GP 1) and leads around the place. Bouficha has about 8700 inhabitants . In this place live many people who are engaged in tourism around Hammamet – especially naturally in the newly built Hammamet-Yasmine.
What Country is Bouficha in?
If you come across any military objects, buildings or motives here, I would warn you not to take pictures here, as in all of Tunisia. In the vicinity of the city is the archaeological site of Pheradi Majus, and of the approximately 30-hectare Friguia Park, with many animals that are native to Africa. The railway station of Bouficha dates back to colonial times and is very well maintained like many similar railway stations in Tunisia. There is also a small Park behind the station, where the weekly market takes place. Between Enfidha and Bouficha is the beautiful beach of Sidi Salloum
