What Country is Bielsko-Biala in?

Bieslko-Biała is a town in the south of Poland consisting of two former towns on both banks of the Biała River, which were merged in 1951. The city is located at the foot of the Beskids mountain on the historical border of high Silesia and lower Poland, only 60km south of Katowice. With a population of over 175,000 inhabitants, the city is quite large. Bielsko dates back to the 12th century, and in 1930 archaeologists discovered the remains of a fortified settlement, which is now Stary Bielsko. Today’s city centre dates back to the 13th century, when the castle was built.
