The Anchorage Museum is the largest museum in Alaska and one of the ten most visited attractions in the country. The museum’s mission is to connect Alaska with the world through art, history and science. Highlights of the museum include:

THE SMITHSONIAN ARCTIC EXHIBITION

The exhibit houses 600 rare artifacts of Alaska Natives from the Smithsonian Institute. These include traditional masks, ceremonial garments and hunting weapons. The exhibition is designed in such a way that visitors can easily compare the different indigenous groups and their cultural differences.
