The Watch Museum in Bristol is an experience. The exhibition of the grandfather clocks alone, which includes the oldest grandfather clock in the USA, is very exciting and a sound experience, especially at full hours.

The museum staff we met there was very friendly and took a lot of time to explain everything to us and answer questions. Furthermore, one learns a lot about the history of chronography and also the watch industry. Although the Museum is dedicated to a very narrow area, namely clocks, it is full of different exhibits that cannot be more different. One to two hours you can talk here if you have no special interest in watches and the very cheap entrance does not matter. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by.
