When we booked the trip, I thought oh cool Puerto Rico, a new country on my world map, but I had no idea where to put it.

I suspected it in the direction of Mexico and definitely classified Spanish. Well, I didn’t miss it. It is also spoken Spanish, but also English. It is located right next to the Dom Rep, so east of it and belongs to the beautiful Caribbean islands. Puerto Rico is one of the United States, but is not a separate state.
