Summary strictly speaking, Interstate 20 does not lead to El Paso in Texas at all, but ends about 200 km east of Reeves County near a place called Kent, but nobody knows. The Route runs north of i10 and connects South Carolina and Alabama with the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. In terms of tourism, the Route is of minor importance. However, the route runs so far north that, unlike the i10, it can no longer be endangered by hurricanes. Between Birmingham and Meridian, the Route runs along Interstate 59.
